Our depots
Our Warwick depot on Project Street serves the Southern Downs. It gives customers in and around Warwick a local Wards point of contact rather than a phone number in another city.
Warwick is one of six Wards Transport depots across Queensland. Freight is handled locally by our own team, which keeps the chain of custody short and makes problems easier to sort out.

Warwick customers have access to the full Wards Transport service range, connecting the Southern Downs to Brisbane, Toowoomba and the depots further west.

Warwick is a working agricultural town, and the freight reflects that: machinery parts that stop a job when they are late, produce that has to move on time, and trade and retail stock that keeps local businesses supplied. Running a depot here rather than servicing the town from Toowoomba means freight is handled by people who know the district.
The Warwick depot connects the Southern Downs into the wider Wards Transport network. Freight moves through Toowoomba and Brisbane, and on to our depots at Roma, Charleville and Theodore. That means a Warwick customer can send freight to most of South West and Central Queensland without it ever leaving our control.
Beyond general pallets and cartons, the fleet includes drop deck and extendable trailers for long or over-height loads, ramp trailers for machinery, and refrigerated units. We also carry out specialist tyre transport and heavy lift work, and can handle OSOM consignments where permits and pilots are required.

Our Warwick customers are largely in agribusiness, but the depot also handles freight for construction, trade, manufacturing, retail and hospitality businesses across the district.
